Compressor cooling system

BACKGROUND

The internal cooling system of a compressor at a paper production facility was in need of cleaning. The compressor had >100.000 hours of runtime and their cooling system had never been cleaned. The facility needed the cluster for their 7 Bar high pressure air system running 24/7.

RESULTS

The cleaning resulted in significantly lower temperatures of the cooling water and lower oil temperature. Furthermore, better cooling efficiency and lower energy consumption were achieved.
