Green liquor cooler

BACKGROUND

At a plant for black liquor production, severe scale problems in the tube heat exchanger of the system is common. Due to a fast cooling process, large volumes of carbonate scale deposits was found inside the tubes.

RESULTS

The result was very good and by using Bio Gen Active® Scale 130 the two tube heat exchangers could be reconditioned to designed value.
