Black liquor strain basket

Black liquor is filtrated through strain baskets prior condensation. Due to heavy deposits, the holes in the baskets are blocked and as a consequencethe baskets must be removed and cleaned at a different facility. High pressure washing was not successful and a different method was needed. The deposit was highly alkaline with large amount of wood fibre imbedded. Alternatively CIP-cleaning with using our Bio Gen Active® Scale 55 was tried.
